At 9:02 a.m. on December 18, Maya Gisella was born weighing 6 lbs 4 oz. and measuring at 19 3/4 inches.
I have so much to say about the whole birth experience and our first few days as a family as well as a physical assessment following a C-section …but since we just got home tonight and I still have two feedings ahead of me before “morning”, I’m going to have to hold off on the details for now. Thanks for bearing with me 😉
All I can say at this moment is that she is beautiful, perfect, healthy and ours. 😉 We are absolutely smitten by our little peanut. In fact, I’m still in awe that I can love someone this much that I’ve only just met.

I love that “morning” is in quotation marks. Time becomes completely irrelevant in those first few months. 4am? 4pm? What’s the difference? And who cares? 🙂
