Airplanes & Wishes

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!

“AIRPLANES.” Are you familiar with this new B.o.B./Hayley Williams tune? I cannot for the life of me get this catchy song out of my head. I’m not typically a big hip-hop fan, but the chorus just speaks so closely to what I’m thinking/feeling at the moment.

Check it out here (you can listen as well).

This is the chorus I’m obsessed with. Sharing it with you, since I think my husband is going to go nuts if he hears it one more time 😉

Can we pretend that airplanes
In the night sky
Are like shooting stars
I could really use a wish right now (wish right now, wish right now)

I appreciate all your comments over the past few days and your notes and e-mails; thank you. It means more than you know. Soon I hope to be able to explain what’s going on, but just know that my anxiety is being tested in ways I never could have envisioned … and  all your positive vibes, energy, prayers, and thoughts are coming during a very difficult time for me (a time that has nothing to do with what my blog is about).

So thank you!

And now, since I can’t for some reason upload the adorable pics of Rocco at hubby’s soccer game today (he was a hit!) thanks to a defunct-at-the-moment-CrackBerry, I’d like to end this now-photo-less post with one of my favorite nursery rhymes from my childhood. One can never have too many wishes, hopes or dreams, right?!

Star light, star bright,
The first star I see tonight;
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.
