Hi all!
So I’m realizing I have no time to blog at lunch now that I have puppy-duty/lunch commitments … and at night, the last thing I want to do is be on my laptop now that we have Rocco!!
But he’s napping so I figured I’d say hello. π
Sorry, but a lot of my posts are probably going to be about Rocco. He’s just such a little pistol! When we get him up in the morning, or come home from work, he runs like a crazy man outside … but then after ten minutes is tuckered out and snoozing already!!
He can go from feisty to calm as can be within minutes, and he’s just such a joy to have. I feel truly blessed.
OK, I’m getting too schmoopy here.
Anyway, tonight I leave you with a good quote.
“Whether you believe you can do a thing or not, you are right.” -Henry Ford
A very dear friend of mine (and loyal blog reader!) ran a half marathon this weekend — I’m super proud of her! Anyway, she shared that quote on her blog, and I thought that it was really apropos with respect to disordered eating recovery, or any challenge we might be facing.
Truly, our attitudes determine our altitudes.
What it comes down to is this: I believe I can beat emotional eating … and think Rocco is going to be a big help in this journey. I’m giving it my best shot!
How about you? What challenge are you facing that you could reframe with Henry Ford’s quote?
I heart you love for Rocco. Its just about the sweetest thing ever.
Thanks for sharing the quote. I saw it over the weekend and thought, ‘Yup, that’s perfect.’
Thank you for being proud of me, too. It means so much.
We can do it!!!
Aw … thanks Stac! π I loved the quote and AM very proud of you!!! π
