Miscellaneous March

Last night I wasn’t feeling a ton of inspiration to blog. I had a great night at home with my hubby, and then went for a workout while he was studying.

When I was trying to think of a good topic to blog about, I just drew a blank. I’m still riled up about this post about my university’s newest “spokesman”/TOOL OF THE CENTURY and have been thinking a lot about my role in community management, since that’s what I have been doing lately for the American Heart Association at work.

(Are you a fan yet?!! Become a fan here. I’m the “voice” of AHA on Facebook so if you see someone posting, it’s me — or our account manager in my absence! :))

But none of those things are really relevant to my blog’s mission. So in lieu of a traditional post, and because things feel really good in my life right now and I didn’t feel like writing a deep post … I thought I’d cull together some interesting articles I found recently that you might have seen.

Daily Chocolate Might Keep the Doctor Away (Source: CNN.com) — Me likey!! πŸ™‚ I LOVE dark chocolate … but I also like white chocolate.

Baby Fat May Not Be So Cute After All (Source: NYTimes.com) — I fear childhood obesity is going to be the downfall of our society … this kind of story gives me great pause when I think of motherhood someday!

Fatty Foods May Cause Cocaine-Like Addiction (Source: CNN.com) — I hope people don’t use this as an excuse, but it’s another argument for eating whole foods.

Well folks, that’s a wrap πŸ™‚ I realize I haven’t blogged much this month — between my trips to Korea and then DC/Baltimore/Annapolis … but it has been one of the most magnificent months of my life. Looking forward to what April brings!
